Tent (2026) is a multimedia installation by Ilana Waniuk and Joseph Bourdeau, which uses light, projection mapping, multichannel audio, and video loops to fill an eight by eight space with sounds and images from the artists’ shared home environment, aiming to create a welcoming interactive space from defamiliarized scraps of personal material.

Tent invites the audience into an 8x8 tent, with three walls constructed from bleach-dyed fabric. The back wall of the tent features a rear-projection screen, on which is projected a looping video by Ilana Waniuk, made from processed footage of the view from the artists' apartment window.

In addition to the window projection, Tent features one channel of stereo audio played on "house" speakers, and one channel of fixed video with stereo audio playing on a large CRTV. This CRTV video uses reflections on flatscreen monitors, along with other mundane "household" footage as a seed for feedback improvisations, and other video processes.
​Within the space, several strands of transparencies were hung. These small transparencies were cut from larger images created by Ilana Waniuk, and made into small "snapshots" which could be easily hung throughout the space. Visitors were invited to leave a record of their visitation by selecting and hanging a snapshot in the space, thereby contributing to the evolution of the piece over time.
